Enough of those old days of creating different login account for each website, where you want to create an account.
These days, many of the website uses the openID as their login system and uses GRavatar (Globally Recognized Avatar) for your profile.
One of the website that uses both the open ID and GRavatar is stackoverflow
So, on your next website, if your login system is simpler, used only for login authentication and if you don't have any role based data acess, you can use openID and GRavatar instead of creating your own user account management.
